About Cupar
The KY postcode area, also known as the Kirkcaldy postcode area, is a group of postal districts covering most of Fife, as well as Kinross, around Anstruther, Burntisland, Cowdenbeath, Cupar, Dunfermline, Glenrothes, Inverkeithing, Kelty, Kinross, Kirkcaldy, Leven, Lochgelly and St Andrews in Scotland.
Cupar is a town and former royal burgh in Fife, Scotland. The town is approximately equidistant between the larger settlements of Dundee and Glenrothes. According to a 2006 estimate, Cupar is the ninth largest settlement in Fife.
At the heart of the town are the Bonnygate, and the adjoining Crossgate, which are the town's principal shopping streets. At the meeting of the two stands the Mercat Cross, which dates from 1683 and was relocated from the Fluthers hill in 1897.
Scott's Porage Oats mill their oats at the Uthrogle Mills, owned by Quaker Oats, just off the A91 near Elmwood College.
Notable buildings in the town include the Parish Church of Cupar Old & St Michael of Tarvit, St John's Church, the Fife County Buildings, Yeomanry House an old Napoleonic prison, now the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry/Scottish Horse barracks, and the A-listed Tarvit Home Farm Steading with its unusual and distinctive spire. To the South by the village of Craigrothie are the Hill of Tarvit mansion house and Scotstarvit Tower.
Cupar is home to four schools: one high school: Bell Baxter High School, two primary schools: Castlehill Primary School, St. Columba's RC Primary School, and Kilmaron School for pupils aged 3-18yrs with complex additional support needs. In addition there is a Further Education college Elmwood College in Cupar, focussing on Land Based Studies and Golf, with a farm and golf course in Cuparmuir.
I am e-mailing to say thank you very much for your prompt attention to my order placed on the 22nd Feb and delivered this morning, 23rd. The recipient was very pleased and phoned to express their appreciation. I feel that some of the praise is due in no small measure to your good selves.
In this day and age we are all too ready to complain when things go wrong, so It is only fair to say thank you when things go well. Please be assured this will not be my only order with you.
Thank you again.
