About Cardiff

The CF postcode area, also known as the Cardiff postcode area, is a group of postal districts around Aberdare, Bargoed, Barry, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Cowbridge, Dinas Powys, Ferndale, Hengoed, Llantwit Major, Maesteg, Merthyr Tydfil, Mountain Ash, Penarth, Pentre, Pontyclun, Pontypridd, Porth, Porthcawl, Tonypandy, Treharris, Treorchy in Wales.

Cardiff is the capital and the largest city and county in Wales. As well as being the political capital, it is Wales's centre for business, education, sport, tourism, culture, media and government.

The city of Cardiff is the county town of the historic county of Glamorgan (later South Glamorgan). Cardiff is part of the Eurocities network of the largest European cities. Cardiff Urban Area covers a slightly larger area, including Dinas Powys, Penarth and Radyr. It was a small town until the early 19th century and came to prominence as a major port for the transport of coal following the arrival of industry in the region.

As the capital city of Wales, Cardiff is the main engine of growth in the Welsh economy. The economy of Cardiff and adjacent areas makes up nearly 20% of Welsh GDP and 40% of the city’s workforce are daily in-commuters from the surrounding south Wales area.

Cardiff is the one of the most popular tourist destination cities in the United Kingdom, with one survey recording just under 12 million visitors in 2006. One result of this is that one in five employees in Cardiff are based in the distribution, hotels and restaurants sector, highlighting the growing retail and tourism industries in the city. There are a large number of hotels of varying sizes and standards in the city, providing almost 9,000 available bed spaces.

The majority of Cardiff's shopping portfolio is in the city centre around Queen Street and St. Mary's Street, with large suburban retail parks located in Cardiff Bay, Culverhouse Cross, Newport Road and Pontprennau, together with markets in the city centre, Splott and Leckwith. A major £675 million regeneration programme for Cardiff's St. David's Centre is underway which, when completed in 2009, will provide a total of 1,400,000 square feet (130,000 m2) of shopping space, making it one of the largest shopping centres in the United Kingdom.

This is what some of our customers say

Dear Eden4flowers-Customer Care, I recently used your flower delivery service and wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your services... The service was nothing more than excellent! Best regards.

Stuart Shaw. Middlesex UK

I just wanted to thank you for the prompt service with the delivery of flowers to my Grandmother. We live in Australia and it was the first time we had sent anything via the internet. It was a surprise to receive a call from a happy lady to tell us that she had a delivery of a lovely bunch of flowers arrive on the morning of her birthday. Thanks for your service, I will definately use it again.

A Lyle. Yaroomba Australia

Thanks Guys.

As ever, everything well perfect.
